que faire en cas de crampe

La crampe musculaire est une contraction violente, involontaire et douloureuse d’un muscle ou d’un faisceau musculaire. Cette tétanisation survient au cours d’un effort, ou après, et s’accompagne d’une impotence fonctionnelle immédiate.

Les crampes peuvent être la cause de plusieurs facteurs : fatigue musculaire, déshydratation, apports insuffisants en sodium, déminéralisation (manque de calcium, potassium et magnésium), consommation abusive d’alcool en période d’entraînement…

En cas de crampe, la première chose à faire est de stopper immédiatement l’entraînement puis d’étirer le groupe musculaire concerné jusqu’à que la douleur cède. Il faut enfin s’hydrater. Cependant, si la crampe est survenue, c’est que vous êtes probablement déjà en état de déshydratation.

Vous ne reprendrez l’entraînement que si vous n’êtes pas trop fatigué et que vous avez la possibilité de continuer en supprimant le mouvement qui vous a causé la crampe.
